Walking and climbing
Walking and climbing for all levels - local walks, longer walks including parts of the West Highland Way, and 40 Munros within a 15 mile radius.
Biking
Bring or hire a bike - Take the newly opened cycle track (very safe and very easy) to the Holly Tree Hotel in Kentallan, or drive 20 minutes towards Oban to the ferry and explore the almost car free island of Lismore. Head towards Fort William and you can cross the Corran Ferry to the unspoiled Ardgour peninsula.
Mountain bike in the Glenachuilish forest or further afield on the bike trails at Glencoe mountain and the Nevis Range.
Skiing
The Glencoe mountain lift is 20 minutes drive and the Nevis Range is 40 minutes
Ice Factor Climbing
Learn to climb ice or indoor rock all year round at the Ice Factor at Kinlochleven.
Golf
Picturesque 9 hole Dragon’s Tooth course at Ballachuilish.
Hogwarts Express
Harry Potter fans can join the Hogwarts Express from Fort William to Mallaig.

The house is within easy driving distance of some of the most stunning scenery in Scotland and the local tourist information office in Ballachuilish has plenty of information on local attractions.
